I am a human rights activist passionate about communities, human rights protection, gender and climate justice. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in information technology and a diploma in gender and development studies. I also possess short courses certificates in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation, Community Journalism, Movement building with a vast experience in community development and gender advocacy. My report writing and linguistic skills are impeccable with a high command of English and Kiswahili. My rich interpersonal skills place me at an advantage of delivering in a wide range of humanitarian and social change interventions.
I have worked as a Digital Disruptor at Amnesty International Kenya where I was tasked with assessing the status of digital inclusion in regards to device and internet accessibility, safety and security of digital platforms and existing gaps in the available data protection policies in Kenya. This was geared towards designing a digital campaign aimed at protecting the digital rights of youth and children in Kenya. Currently, I sit at the National Steering Committee for the Social Justice Centres Working Group holding the position of the National secretary. Here I am tasked with coordinating the chapters in designing activity calendars, developing reports and organizing national events for the movement. As a committee member, I provide strategic advisory to the steering committee to inform campaigns and programs for resource mobilization and partnership. Additionally, I support the steering committee in scheduling meetings, documenting minutes and reports. My life goal is to contribute to a fairer, safer and more inclusive world by 2030
