Our Focus Areas
Right to Life
We uphold and defend the right to life as enshrined in the Constitution of Kenya, a fundamental and inalienable right for every person. This commitment means challenging all forms of violence, unlawful killings, and systemic injustices that threaten human life, while demanding accountability, protection, and respect for human dignity in all spaces.
Wellness
Wellness for Human Rights Defenders is not a luxury; it is a necessity. Sustaining the fight for justice begins with protecting the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of those on the frontlines. When HRDs are well, movements are stronger, communities are safer, and justice becomes more sustainable.
Gender Based Violence
We stand in solidarity against Gender-Based Violence, amplifying voices of survivors and challenging the systems and norms that enable harm. Through advocacy, community action, and accountability, we work to create safe spaces where dignity, equality, and justice are not just ideals—but lived realities for all.
Economic and Social Rights
We advocate for the full realization of socio-economic rights under Article 43 of the Constitution of Kenya, including the right to health, education, water, food, social security, and especially access to land and adequate housing. Our work focuses on turning these rights into reality by holding duty bearers accountable and empowering communities to claim what is rightfully theirs with dignity and justice.
